A Fuss upon some Apple Pies

 should have come my style

 should have enjoyed it my way

 should have been baked really on my desire

 should at least brighten my gloomy day

 they have been quite a cheer, though

 for the excitement of the dear kids

 it at least left me a smile, this Sunday
