You are One and Eighty
You are one and eighty,
outlived all your loving dearies,
a sanctuary of whole life history.
Your childhood was never a comfort for you,
the brutal chores you had to do.
Never a word of bitterness, the story told of you,
all the ordeals are considered your guru,
to live and stay humble, it has taught you.
How my heart bleeds to know you,
the youth you had to go through.
Adversity in a place so new,
when no-one there for you, in a life without a clue.
But in God you laid your hands to walk through.
All glued the past, survivals, and the profound humble deeds,
have led you, to the old age of wisdom and bravery.
Still through your eyes, fathomed the fears and worries,
and in silence you chant the prayers,
devoted to your loving dearies.
Let me wish you a fulfilled joy in longevity,
and may one day you can smile and feel free.
